After winning the 71st Senior National Bakestball Championships- North East Zone by beating Assam with a striking 85-68 score, Mizoram Senior Men's Basketball Team was received with a grand welcoming ceremony by the Mizoram Basketball Association (MBBA) at Ch. Chhunga Truck Terminal Auditorium, Rangvamual. The MBBA has also put up a massive 50 feet welcome banner to the North East Champion team at Millennium Centre, Aizawl.
With this significant win, the Mizo Men's basketball team will play in the National Championship to be held at Chennai next year.
