Lalchhanhimi, a former Bronze medalist at the Commonwealth Games, took home two Silver Medals for Mizoram at the IWLF Youth, Junior and Senior National Weightlifting Championship, 2022 held at KIIT University, Bhubhaneshwar.
The Mizo sportswoman competed in the weight category of 71kg and won Silver for both Senior National and Inter State National . In the midst of hard- hitting pressure at the competition, Lalchhanhimi managed to succeed on her third attempt with determination and rise despite her first and second failed attempts for Snatch and Clean and Jerk events.
