GoFirst airways, formerly known as GoAir, starts flight service from Mizoram

GoFirst Airways, formerly known as GoAir, has started operating flight services between Lengpui, Mizoram and Kolkata, West Bengal. A flag off ceremony was held at Lengpui Airport. 

The airlines reported that flights from Aizawl will be connected to Kolkata, Guwahati and Delhi. GoFirst has introduced 32 new flights to widen their service in different cities in the country including Amritsar, Surat and Dehradun to enhance regional connectivity. 

Currently, Air India, Alliance Air, Indigo and GoFirst are the airlines operating flights between Aizawl and other cities in the country.
