Thousands of youths in Mizoram flocked to Diakkawn field at Kolasib to attend the 59th KTP General Conference. According to yesterday's report, more than 11260 members attended the Saturday night worship service, and more are expected to have arrived today. This year's General Conference commenced on 5th May 2022 and will end on 8th May 2022. More than 600 official delegates from different branches attended the conference with Revd. Chuauthuama, a senior Presbyterian pastor as the speaker. The number of assigned delegates have been brought down on account of Covid-19 safety measures.
Kristian Thalai Pawl (KTP) is the largest youth group/fellowship in Mizoram with more than 1.5 lakh members who constitute more than 800 branches in different localities and villages. KTP is the youth wing of the Mizoram Presbyterian Church and a three-tier organization which exists at the local church level, pastorate level and Central level.
