Lalthlamuanpuia, the sole representative of Mizoram University, won the silver medal at the All India Inter-University Taekwondo Championship, held in Kerala from 21st-24th March. Lalthlamuanpuia bagged the medal for the Taekwondo Poomsae Championship.
Puia,who is currently staying at India Camp, Lucknow competed for the under 29 individual category and is the only selected player to represent Mizoram University. He participated in many regional and national competitions and has won several medals for Mizoram. He represented India at the 13th South Asian Games, Nepal and won the prestigious Gold Medal. He also bagged the Silver medal at the All India Inter University Taekwondo Championship in 2020.
