National Kala Utsav 2021, an all- India competition of different schools all over the country, was held from January 1- 12, 2022. Lalruatfeli, a student of Kids Care School, Ramhlun South Mizoram, won the first prize at the Visual Arts 3D Painting Competition.
Organized by the Ministry of Education, Kala Utsav is a national competition where high school and Higher secondary school students from all over India compete in different categories such as instrumental music, folk dance and other art forms. Mizoram has won third prizes in the National Kala Utsav in the past but this is the first time that a student from Mizoram won the first prize in this national competition. Lalruatfeli is a class IX student with an excellent academic record, she is currently residing in Ramhlun Venglai, Aizawl with her family.
