In the ongoing selection process for the VLCC Femina Miss India 2022 competition, Lalramhlui Sailo (Hlutei) has been selected as the winner of Femina Miss India, Mizoram. Surpassing the other two contestants - Zirsangpuii (Miss Mizoram 2020), Jennifer Lalrinzuali Renthlei (Miss GAC) and R. Lalhmingchhuangi, Lalramhlui will be representing Mizoram at the 58th Edition of the VLCC Femina Miss India Beauty Peagent. With the audition held at Mumbai on 30th April, 2022, the Miss India Organization has chosen Lalramhlui Sailo from Mizoram with other delegates representing from 31 states. Lalramhlui Sailo, aged 21 is currently pursuing her second semester B.A at Govt. Johnson's College. Making use of her free time, she has earned several roles in acting and her modelling career to support her studies . She is also the first among the Mizo to appear in the catalogues of the global beauty brand, Oriflame.
The winner of Femina Miss India 20222 will be taking the crown from Manasa Varanasi, the reigning Femina Miss India and will be representing India for Miss World which will take place on June.
