As Covid19 cases continue to rise in India, the state of Mizoram has detected a total of 443 new cases in the last 24 hrs while 112 patients were discharged from Covid cares. Currently, Assam has the highest number of active Covid case in North East with a total of 2,935 cases. Till today, Mizoram has seen 553 Covid deaths while the recovery rate in the state stands at 98.09%
In a meeting with the officials from Mizoram Journalist Association (MJA), Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. R. Lalthangliana said that inspite of the rapid rise in new cases in the country, there has been no talk of lockdown plans in thr newr future in Mizoram
